Kirkwood Station Brewing Co.

Highlands Brewing Company (now Kirkwood Station Brewing Company) had a problem when they came to us. No one knew who they were or why to go. We solved that problem in a hurry. We redid their site, Facebook presence, and started generating content on a regular basis. In less than a year and a half, the facebook page accumulated 2,000 likes and 2,000 monthly active users.

In the middle of 2011, Highlands was forced to change their name. We helped them navigate the waters, redoing their logo, registering new domain names and most importantly making sure they didn’t lose the Facebook presence that they had worked to build. We lead their renaming campaign, hosting a contest through Facebook and collecting several hundred entries. The campaign got press in The St. Louis Post Dispatch and many local beer enthusiast sites.

Within the first few weeks of the name change, 600+ fans migrated to their Facebook page which quickly jumped to 1,000 monthly active users, numbers which are both rising at a rate exponentially quicker than they did the first time around.

How do we keep their page active? We take pictures of events that are happening there. We do contests and giveaways. We ask questions that people want to answer. We post news that people want to read about. We spend time every week gathering content, making deals, spinning ideas, and working with the staff at the Highlands, to make sure that everyone benefits from our strategy.

We started working with the Kirkwood Station in Spring 2010 and have maintained a solid relationship and continued to provide results which keep them coming back. They understand that the internet is a constantly changing place, and they’re always willing to try the new thing and take advantage of new opportunities. They’re a great client to have because behind their great products is a great, genuinely passionate team of people. We like companies like that.
